The things you can do with The Cloud are many and varied. This is great but can be frustrating and confusing when all you want is that your computer systems work and are able to be recovered in the event of a failure.

For most of us, the really important thing we can benefit from The Cloud is an ability to back our data up to somewhere that is not our own home or office premises. Many computer users understand the importance of a backup but will often store the backup on site. Usually somewhere close to the live system so thats its easily accesible if needed.

There are two main problems with this

1. Burglary

2. Fire

In both cases, it is extremely likely that your precious memories or your entire business data is gone forever. And so is the backup.

The solution is simple - backup your data off-site. The easiest most reliable way to do this is to backup to the cloud. There are a number of systems available to do this.
