About TechMan

Originaly from the UK, TechMan moved to New Zealand with the TechFamily in 2013, primarily to be with extended family and to give the TechKids a different environment to grow up in, one that gave them lots of fresh air, lots of nature and no tower blocks. The Kapiti Coast fit the bill perfectly.

When TechMan was just a TechBoy, his first IT job was working for his highschool, whilst still a pupil. He upgraded the computers to Windows 95 and installed CD drives and extra RAM. This was a valuable start and confirmed TechBoy's affinity with technology.

​

20 years on and life has been technology focused ever since, working at various levels, with staff and budgets that would make your eyes water.

Now, closer to 40 than 30, TechMan is in a position where he can help the local community conquer their computers and triumph over their technology.
